A native of Arlington, Texas, Dr. Wyatt received his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Arlington and his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedics and specializes in Kyphoplasty (compression fractures in the elderly), general orthopaedics and sports medicine.
A resident of Zachary, Dr. Wyatt has been married to his wife Heather for 18 years and has five sons ages 5 - 22. The oldest, Drew, is attending College in Denver. The family spent almost three years in Baton Rouge and Deridder, Louisiana before moving to Zachary. They are very sports oriented, with the boys participating in football, baseball, soccer, swimming, gymnastics, guitar and band.
"Having coached before, I am looking forward to the upcoming high school football season here in Zachary," said Dr. Wyatt. "That's one of the many reasons why I prefer a smaller community - I enjoy seeing patients at the store or in church, becoming actively involved in the schools with my family, and being able to make a difference.
Dr. David Wyatt is now seeing new spine patients at Zachary Orthopaedic Care Center, located at 4801 McHugh Road, Suite C, in Zachary. Call 658-9996 to schedule your appointment today!
